| God and the Goverment. |

As we loom ever so close to the election of our next president which will take us to the famous dreaded year of 2012 we need to pray harder than ever to make the right choice. Although whatever ever God's plan is will be acted out accordingly, One has to wonder if he or she as a lone person or with a group would have the right to defy the government to side with GOD, THE ANSWWER IS YES!
4:16 saying, "What shall we do with these men? For that a notable sign has been performed through them is manifest to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it. 4:17 But in order that it may spread no further among the people, let us warn them to speak no more to any one in this name." 4:18 So they called them and charged them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. 4:19 But Peter and John answered them, "Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge; 4:20 for we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard." The same things that occurred in the days of the apostles are happening now with the crackdown of separation of church and state, which by the way appears nowhere in the constitution, but only in a private letter from Thomas Jefferson to the Baptist.
All over America Jesus is being taken out of everyday life whether it be the school systems or other state related functions.
For the first 200 years of our great nation , the bible was the textbook taught, since then the illiteracy and dropout rate has increased by leaps and bounds, do the two go hand in hand I absolutely believe so.
Threats of jail time for invoking the name of Jesus at school events or during school speeches, the downright mockery of Jesus in movies and magazines and books. 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
3:6 But Peter said, I have no silver or gold, but what I have, that I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up on your feet.
4:10 be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, `even' in him doth this man stand here before you whole. 3:8 I know thy works (behold, I have set before thee a door opened, which none can shut), that thou hast a little power, and didst keep my word, and didst not deny my name.
3:17 And whatsoever ye do, in word or in deed, `do' all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. 2:10 that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of `things' in heaven and `things' on earth and `things' under the earth, It seems to me that "the name" of Jesus just offends a lot of people, well I love the name and I love Jesus ans will defy man or government when needed to to declare his glory.
Those days are coming when we all will be given a choice, What will yours be? |
