Today, I woke up to a video news clip on Yahoo and recognized a boy, Mattie Stepanek. His poetry, and his life, even in the midst of dramatic disability, was inspirational. He lived 13 years, with a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy. He, like my baby sister, was inspiration personified. He will be remembered through his words and the memories brought to us, like this little news clip. His death in 2004 will always be remembered because he remains a peacemaker, through his poetry and a very special creation for families. Live with peace and joy within you, and you may overcome anything and everything, because God will help you do so. Watch this video and believe that this verse in the gospel of John will resonate with you as it resonates with me. Think about it.
I am the Rainbow Minister and I too wish to one day leave an impression like this 13 year old boy managed to do.
