| SHOW YOUR FAITH ~ AND WATCH IT GROW |

James 2:20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?
FAITH without work is DEAD, it means NOTHING. We must work that faith we've just found or have just allowed to be reborn within us. Here I am discussing the very foundation of our belief system. YOU GOTTA HAVE FAITH, and then salvation can be found and achieved. There are so many here that have not realized just how important it is to hold on to that tiny flicker of faith, that hope that there is a place for each of us in God's world.
SHOW YOUR FAITH.
There are many ways to do this. You can wear a cross necklace. You can go to church and the church functions. You can pray in broad daylight in the midst of a huge crowd of people. You can sing Amazing Grace at the top of your lungs when you need that lift. You'd be amazed at how often I would do this if I got out more. I pray at every meal. I may not pray aloud, but I bow my head, even in McDonalds, and PRAY. People may look at me funny, but I honestly don't care.
When I was a kid, I loved to sing and I loved to dance. These days I still sing, but dancing, unless it's waltzing or slow dancing with my husband, gets to be real tough for me to do. Yet, I sing regardless, and I read my spiritual poetry aloud in schools and on websites and more if others would let me. I read this poetry aloud, this gift God gave me in the ability to put the words together, I share it with the world. And, even in a world where church and state are reportedly separate, I speak these words in schools that are public in nature. Now that's a special thing.
Did you know it's with the legal implications of prayer in school that even a prayer poem can be slammed? I have read aloud, in twenty or more classrooms, two or more prayer poems. One of them is A Soldier's Prayer. Another is A Christmas Prayer and yet another is A Mother's Prayer. This is something that none of us can stop, the voice of a child who wants to hear more. That is what Jesus said, through hearts like that of a child, we shall earn salvation. Trust, faith, prayer, and expression of those acts for God, with God, in God, for Christ, with Christ, in Christ, and we shall receive the gifts of Everlasting Life.
So, in the spiritual grace of God, may we learn that our expressions of faith are gaining strength through the impression God's faith in us has brought. May we each be blessed. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen and so it shall be.
