A New Day - A New Perspective

We live in a generation of defeat.  Relationships break up and people move on and how many do you think REALLY pray about it?  Sad to say, but many people just GIVE UP with the times and then thier lives are not the same.

I believe that God would have us to look at things in a NEW perspective.  

Today is a new day.  There will never be another one like it. 

What if you called someone who has hurt you and forgave them?

What if you called someone that YOU have hurt and asked for thier forgiveness?

What if you told someone the truth about what you have been hiding?

What if you prayed for that broken relationship rather than letting it fade with time?

What if you prayed diligently and daily with urgency for that lost son or daughter?

What if you trusted in God today?

I know that this is not a long blog, but this is what God has placed on my heart to share.  Please read today's verse.  TODAY IS A NEW DAY.  WILL YOU LOOK AT IT DIFFERENTLY THAN YESTERDAY? 

 

1:10 I appeal to you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree and that there be no dissensions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.

I should say that my husband and have been living separately and he insisted on separate finances and told me to have my own money for emergencies as he was not helping if I blew a tire. I applied for a credit card so I would be able to handle it. Then got more offers. I didn't have any debt before that. We have lived apart since February. I have been driving home on weekends to try to repair my marriage. In the interim, it has not been all good and now I have likely made things worse.

He just told me a woman popped in after work to have a beer with him and a friend around the evening fire in our back yard, and is now taking a nap. I feel sick.

I am feeling a bit more encouraged tonight. I am making a pizza for a late dinner with my husband. I am still under the weather a bit from the pneumonia. I will leave for Richmond from Moyock in the morning. It is a 3 hour drive and then home to Amelia after work. I won't likely spend much time on here but thank you for your encouraging words. juanita
