You will never be old shoe

You will never again be an old shoe

To be cast away

Because God has recreated you.

When you came to Him that day,

He scrubbed the dirt off you

Each moment you did pray,

Because you will never again be old shoe.

When you came to Him that night,

He shined the squalid parts of you.

You then began to shine bright

Like a brand new designer’s shoe.

You will never again be an old shoe

To be cast away

Because God has reformed you.

Others tried to conceal you low

In that repulsive trash bin,

But the Holy Ghost said no

And rushed to invite you in.

He gave you a brand new lace

To fit uniquely in your shoe.

Then Jesus kissed your sad face

And whispered He loved you.

God saw that the hole in the sole

Of your shoe needed repair

So God first chose to save your soul

To rid you of all despair.

Today you are a brand new shoe,

Recreated by God to step on satan’s kingdom

To proclaim to prisoners God wants them new,

If only they’ll embrace His wisdom.

Saints! You will never again be old shoe

To be cast away

Because God has redesigned you

By making you brand new.

Now you can walk on streets of gold

Proclaiming to nation

Blessings that need to be told.
