For many of us was are at a crossroad and a decision must be made:
Who am I going to vote for?
How do we decide? Do we vote based on their believes? Do we vote on the policies they support? Do we vote for pro-choice or life? Do we vote for a man based on the color of his skin? Do we vote based on the man's running mate being a woman? How do we decide?
I have heard many people share why they are supporting their candidate. I have heard Christians on both sides give their arguments. I have even been open to change me mind.
I believe in this last week before we cast our vote we need to do one thing!!!!
PRAY! PRAY! PRAY!
I know we all pray....but set aside time to seek God and HIS WILL for YOUR VOTE!!! Leave both candidates outside your prayer closet. Today in church our pastor encouraged this very thing. He shared we are "stewards of the vote". All in this earth belongs to God and we are stewards. We need to seek Him to determine how He wants each of us to vote.
Food for thought and sobering to realize how important this election is for our nation.
**Please don't use this blog as a place to give your politic position** Thanks.
Both candidates are promising things neither of them can deliver. Both have records with inconsistencies on core value issues. At the end of the day, my vote will come down to character, integrity, and the candidate who I believe shares the most important core values.
Well, I am not voting. I am tired of elections. I will pray for whoever is the leader....doesnt mean that I have to like them....but it is still better to pray for them than to curse them.
