| Hubble Found a Cross in Outer Space! Check it out..... |
| |
Here is a picture that was taken in outer space and posted in the photo gallery on the Hubble Space website. It is an image of the core of the Whirlpool Galaxy. The actual size of the image is 1,100 light years! You can clearly see a cross in the center of this photo. They call an “X,” I call it a cross! Doesn’t the lines of an “X” have to be the same length? Or am I missing something?
When I went to the Chris Tomlin concert a few years ago, Louie Giglio had this picture up on the screen, along with many other fabulous photos from outer space. The concert was the “Indescribable” tour. And these photos clearly show us what an “Indescribable” God we serve. Do you think this was some kind of cosmic accident? I don’t! I believe God placed it there for us to know that He is omnipresent. He is in outer space, the world, and even dwells within those who believe. I think this is amazing! There are many other amazing photos on the Hubble Site, but this is my personal favorite. An “X” my foot! Pretty cool, huh? While we are talking about outer space, do you see the little star in the left hand corner? That is the “I like this blog button.” Feel free to click on it, if you do indeed like this post! Thank You J
8:4 8:3When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;

| It's amazing how God has little reminders of His presence everywhere you look! You just have to open your eyes and see them. Thanks for sharing, Sue! |
| Wow! Thank you for posting it!!! :) |
| Check this out! Jesus died on the cross about 2000 years ago. You said the size of the image is 1100 light years. Give or take a few light years could we be actually seeing the light of the Resurrected Christ as it was around 2000 years ago? Just Wondering! |

| How Great indeed is our God! |

| Hey Anthony--that's a pretty interesting thought! Thanks Sue--this is awesome! |

Thanks for showing us this, it's beautiful! Give Thanks to the Lord He speaks to us in so many ways. |
That is so awesome.. but what do I expect.. our GOD is awesome~ |
Anthony - yours is a great thought, but 1100 light years across means that, if you were TRAVELLING at the speed of light, it'd take you 1100 years to get from one side of that cross to another! The scale of God's creation is amazing. 1100 years travelling fast as a beam of light to get from one side to another. Wow! |

| it's awesome. i bought matt redman's dvd and watched a few teachings of louie giglio and then i got the incredible tour dvd... wow... no words can describe the God we serve! what blew my mind totally was the realisation that God made all those big (that's an understatement..) stuff, but he also made every mikroscopical cell in my body. and everything in the cell. and the same God that lives all around the universe lives in me too...
Everyone: watch the incredible tour dvd. it will give you a new insight on the God we serve... |

| If you really look at it....it looks like Jesus is on the cross but it's more side profile. |

This page gives you Hubble's information on this picture. I don't see any information that tell us the distance. But my concert buddy said that she remembers Louie saying that it was the furthest picture ever taken outer space. I was unable to confirm that statement.
Prudy, I see Jesus too :) |
