| Life is a Roller Coaster Ride |

| We went to Cedar Point today, and had a great time. For those of you unfamiliar with Cedar Point, it is an amusement park in northern Ohio. They have so many neat roller coasters, and we got to ride the newest one today that just opened on Saturday. There were so many twists and turns and a few flips, and peaks and valleys, and it went so fast! It was a great ride, and it made me think how much life is like a roller coaster. Since this was the first time I had ridden this new coaster, I didn't know what was coming up, or what to expect. Life is like that...we don't know what lies ahead, and we take many twists and turns through it. We have points where we feel like we are on top of the world, and other times when we feel like we are down in the deepest places of life. And there are things that happen that really knock us for a loop. The best that we can do is put our seat belts on and take the journey, and I consider Jesus my seat belt. I may not be safe from harm, but I know He is there to cushion the fall. And when I get off of this ride of life, I will cross over to something far more beautiful than I can imagine, and meet with the One who made me and who gave me the grace to be forgiven! A quote that I heard one time, but I don't know who said it..."I don't know what my future holds, but I know the One that holds it". Amen to that! |
