My Monday holiday was so wonderful, it was filled with family. Four generations were represented .... Big Paw [ great grandpa ] , Paw Paw , Daddy , and daughter..How blessed is that, to have them all together. I am so thankful to have family that is close to home. Although I missed my precious younger son, who is in Raliegh NC.
We went to my oldest son's home for a cookout. We had all the good stuff, hamburgers, hotdogs, and the trimmings. Both my son and daughter in law and eldest granddaughter [13] worked very hard preparing for us.
How many men and women gave their lives so that we could enjoy our time together? How many men and women are STILL protecting our liberties?
Soldiers of our freedom! Heroes every one. I thank God for them!
But one hero stands out above all the rest....the One who gave His all...Jesus Christ my Savior! Who stood against sin...and conquered sin...gave me my freedom from sin.
Oh what a Savior, Oh Hallelujah!
It's a great day to serve the Master....hope your day is good.
