One quote that I loved from Falwell was in response to Calvinism (which I certainly subscirbe to) v. noncalvinists in response to approach to evangelism, "I don't know about predestination but the more I preach the more seem to be predestined" or something to that effect. This was probably in response to misunderstandings of calvinists OR in response to evangelisticaly nonactive "hypercalvinists".

Spurgeon said something similar, he said if God put a yellow strip on the back of every chosen one he would go around lifting up shirt tails but since He doesn't he is going to preach the gospel to everyman possible.
