| Beginning of the End or End of the Beginning [The White Horse] |

As you may as well noticed I study end times as a lot of people do now and we all have our own thoughts, earlier I done some blogs on the seven churches which exist in type now.
I will continue and maybe we can agree on a few things, then again maybe not.
After John gets in the spirit and sees gets the grand tour of heaven and is prepared for the things which will happen shortly, this takes place in chapter 5, but chapter 6 is where I want to go 6:1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. 6:2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. Most scholars take this horse to be Satan because he always imitates Jesus, I have read a interesting set of books on Revelation which propose that this rider is Jesus Christ himself, because he conquered all, sin death and the grave. Christ was given his first crown[of thorns] then accomplished his mission of going through life with no sin, then died a bloody death, buried in a borrowed tomb, conquered Hell by going to it and saving the Old Testament Saints and then after his work was done ascended to heaven.
Notice the bow he was given, but no arrows, a bow is useless without arrows.
In the Strong's the word bow in this text is only used 1 time [5115with a reference to 5088]
To produce from a seed as a mother , a plant, the earth ,etc- bear , to be born, be delivered , to be in travail, don't see no mention of arrows, do you?
I would tend to believe that this horse rider was Jesus Christ because he did ride the horse into Jerusalem, was given a crown, and he did conquer, which would make sense to the next rider as being Satan which we will look into tomorrow.
Be Blessed! |
