I just want to thank you and bless you Crystal for this video, only this morning my husband asked me what album or dvd I wanted him to download for me and I honestly couldn't of think of any at the moment. You have trully made my day, and you also made me cry to. I felt so close and connected to Jesus after hearing this. Mike, I know that Kathy posted a link from this blog on her page so others can see it as well. That probably has something to do with it. Either way, I'm very touched that so many people are watching this incrediable video. It is simply amazing!! It's nice to know that so many people are being reached and hopefully so many more have been touched by it and recieved a nice message from our Lord just by watching it. Hopefully this will inspire everyone and lots of churches as well to be creative and try to do more things like this. Sometimes simple things like a performance can touch so many more than a sermon. There are a lot of people out there who have comprehension disorders, ADD, etc. that are just simply hands on that find it easier to understand things like this verses words. I'm just tickled silly that so many have watched it...and I'm sure they have watched it more than one time.

I sat here for 5 mins. clicking the refresh button every minute and this video is being viewed 10-15 times a min. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! For everyone that has asked or is going to ask, I am in the process of trying my best to find out the owner of this video so I can get all the information on it. I know several of you would like to do something like this at your church so I will try and see if there is some sort of script to this too. Please be patient with me, I'm sure it will be a wild goose chase and a long chain of people I will have to go through, but I do not give up and I will do everything in my power to figure this out. HI everyone. OK, so I've done alot of research on this video. It turns out that it was made in the Netherlands. The hands in the video was done by the youth of Oslo UPC Norway. I don't know the name of the church but I did send an email to the pastor of the youth this morning asking him for a copy of the video..other than you tube so we can play it at our churches, and a script or coriography of some sort so that our churches can put it together and so the same skit. I also email another youth minister that I found out had done the same thing. Hopefully I will get a responce out of one of them if not both. I commended the pastor on what a great job his youth did and told him just how many people he has touched with this skit. I thaked him for sharing this with the whole world...literally! YES< THE LORD IS GOOD!!
For those of you that have asked. the name of the song is Who I Am and it's performed by Casting Crowns. You can google their name and get a concert schedule of them if you would like. You can also find this song on their 2005 CD that is found at any Wal-Mart.

How it is done through black light paint, and pipes. My curch has used this song, and N. Mullen's song "It was all about a man". They cordinate it to match the song with putting the pipes together. it can also be done with sticks or plagues painted. It really is moving and a blessing to see. |

Crystal - although this is the first time I ever been in this site, I just wanted to let you know that I received this e-mail on the eve of Thanksgiving and I live in Hawaii on the Island of Oahu. "If you take notice of the time posted, its because I am back talking to our God and it had been some time since He had heard from me, lots of catching up and forgiveness I needed to get out". Thank you for blessing a backslider like myself. The Youth finally had their concert and the pastor sent me an email letting me know it was a SUCCESS!!! How great is our Lord and all of his Children?!? They did several differnt hand movements and had a team record all of them with instruction on how to do it. Here is the email he sent me. If you guys are interested in buying this HOW TO video and the performances then let me know and I'll send him an email. | Hi Crystal. I live in Houston, TX. My daughter, Dana, passed at the young age of 16 in a car accident. But I am so very thankful that she was on fire for God, with a heart for service and evangelism. Her mission was to see others saved. She LOVED to share Jesus, especially with other young people. In fact, she started a christian club at her high school. One day I hope to get her journal in print - it will bless many! After Dana's home going, God placed it on my heart to mentor girls in the things of God. So, I've started a group called SWAP (Sisters With a Purpose) for girls ages 11-18. To make a long story short, they LOVE the idea of learning to hand mime after they viewed "Who Am I". I would like to order the DVD, as well as make an additional donation to your group. As far as the code goes Pamela, it's been so long since I've posted it, I've almost forgot how. For starters go to www.youtube.com and search under videos for Casting Crowns. The URL link will be on the right of the video just copy that link. I think you can just paste that link in your home page under your edit profile and if the video doesn't pop up at least the link will so people can click on it and watch it. There is a way to get the code, but I can't remember. When I get a chance I will try to figure it out again, and I'll let you know.

I was mildly entertained when I viewed this video. It reminded me of the hand bell choir in a mainline denominational church I no longer attend or the youth puppet show ministry in the church that I currently attend.
I was completely turned off by the "cashing in on Christ" commercialism of selling the DVD. Is it a ministry or a business?

| My granddaughter attends Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Rockingham, NC. Their youth group got this video from someone and they put it together themselves and did it for Christmas 2007. It was absolutely breathtaking! It has such a wonderful message -- the church was totally quiet and dark and the response after this was over was wonderful! Thank you for sharing with everybody. |
