6:3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. 6:4 And there went out another horse [that was] red: and [power] was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
This horse is obviously Satan for he took dominion of this world when Christ ascended to heaven.
Since then we have had countless wars and deaths and murders and also sorts of evil to happen.
From the murder of Abel it has been in men's hearts to kill one another, by hand or by with weapons of mass destruction.
I see these horsemen as eras of time that will soon end and a new time will begin when war is finally no more, oh what a wonderful day. |
