This is part 2 of my original blog on healing. Life can be hard at times folks and we get hurt deeply by others at times and do not know how to handle all that hurt, anger, resentment & bitterness. Some of you might say brother Garry, you just do not know what that person(s) did to me. Well I have got great news for you so put on your spiritual seat belt and learn of the Lord.

Paul was writing his epistle to Timothy who was a young Pastor in the faith and trying to encourage Timothy--For God hath not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and a sound mind. Let us look at the scripture for moment:

Timothy had someone that was working with him in minsitry and that person had totally forsaken Timothy for the granduer of this present world system. Demas was working or helping Timothy but he had forsaken Timothy in the minsitry. Timothy may have become devestated by this and may even became fearful to trust any one at any time ever again.

No wonder Paul wrote these words under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit:

You may be or have been in a similar situation but the Word Of God declares that God hath not given us a spirit of fear--but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
