13:31 In that very hour there came certain Pharisees, saying to him, Get thee out, and go hence: for Herod would fain kill thee. 13:32 And he said unto them, Go and say to that fox, Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures to-day and to-morrow, and the third `day' I am perfected. 13:33 Nevertheless I must go on my way to-day and to-morrow and the `day' following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem. The Pharisees wanted to trap Jesus and stop him from going to Jerusalem; however, Jesus knew that he had to keep moving because his life was planned and directed by God. Jesus decided to keep doing the work of God and keep moving until he reached his purpose. He couldn't afford to allow the enemy to stop him from reaching his goal of the cross. This is the attitude we have to take.
We have to take hold of one of God's greatest attributes which is endurance power. All through the Psalms we see God's endurance power. To endure means to be steadfast, patient and long-tempered. So let's endure because God's mercy, righteousness, truth, righteous judgments, his name and his dominion endures forever!
The only way to keep it moving is making sure we also have the spirit of love. We have to go through suffering, jealousy, pride, opportunities to react in the flesh, tests of selfishness, and temptations that would cause us to become bitter, in order to keep moving toward our purpose. Love and let it go. We have to believe that anything is possible with God.
Finally, we have to stir up the gifts within us and move in obedience. This season is the greatest season for the body of Christ. We have to be a multi-faceted person just as God is a multi-faceted God. He wants us to use the many skills he has placed in us so that we can bring forth fruit not only for ourselves but for those around us! Fear is not an option! We've got to keep it moving! Don't let anything hinder you from your destiny! You're in my prayers today and I pray that you keep it moving!! |
