What it made me think of:  #1. What does it take to be like Jesus?
 

To be born of the same Father (God); who puts His seed IN us, so that His power can manifest itself through us.
 
This verse comes to mind: Rom. 8:11, "if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells IN you, He who raised Christ from the dead, will also give life (the same Life and experience), to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells IN you."

Next, "Raise the dead? walk on water?"

Yes!, but do the born again believe it's available to them?  Or do we mostly think, "naw, that was Jesus... I don't believe anything like that can ever happen to me?"

...and yet the Spirit says in this verse, "He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask or think, according to the power that works IN us (Eph.3:20)."

So do we need a change in our thinking when we comapre the two with each other?  ~  And do leaders mostly preach and teach, that we can expect something natural or supernatural, which?
 

Do they major on we are mostly going to experience something natural or supernatural?
 

The answer is obvious (to me)... and that's why few have the same expectation for the supernatural (from the Father), like Jesus did. 

So when you ask, "what does it take to be like Jesus?" Most would answer, "doing good deeds (humanly natural things)." While the Bible reports, things supernatural.
