Hi,I really liked this post.I know how it feels to not be heard comming from a family with 5 children,we often ended up shouting our needs to our mother and she would plug her ears untill we stopped.Or say she was changing her name.Thank goodness we dont have to shout to God,we can place our needs before the Lord in quiet prayer and know they are being heard.God bless and take care.

Can you imagine if God were to ignore us???  Where would I be???  You're right.  We need to stop and pay attention.  God has always something important to say.

I agree wholeheartedly.  There are times I have ignored Him, and he keeps at me until he gets my attention!  I have learned to listen!

I'm right there with you.  I don't know what I would do without Him in my life.  I have let Him down so many times but  He is always there for me.
No we can't and shouldn't ignore God.  What would we be without Him.

My Pastor spoke on this just a few weeks ago and he used the same type of analogy that you used.  And both of you are right but the great thing is GRACE AND MERCY for He never holds are faults against us.

BrandiQ...you are so correct and it is something we need to remember - His grace and mercy abound...thanks for the reminder.

I don't have time to give God my attention, I'm just too busy.

That's what my circumstances usually say. So I have learned through experience that I do not have time to ignore God, because when I do, my time always winds up being spent fruitlessly. However, when I do take the time to turn my attentions to God, then I always wind up with free time by the end of the week.

Agreed. I have made so many mistakes in my life, and I can speak for lots of other people out there when I say this also, but there are times when you regret what you have done or said or thought, but the thing about God is that he always forgives you. If you ignore God, or whatever the fact may be, ignoring, or any other sin that you may do, he will forgive you ever single time. We make mistakes, were human.

"Lord, I am so sorry if I seem to ignore you. With all this chaos that the world throws at us... I pray that my ears, eyes and heart are open to You.

This post is such a great reminder how much You love us! And I love You!"

Thank you for posting this great reminder!

Jonathon, good to hear from you.  Have kept you in prayer.  Have missed your sense of humor.

Thanks Nina for an awesome devotional this evening.  The Lord has been telling me something lately.  I have been very good about passing it along... but not so good at obeying it myself...

great blog. I hate being ignored and so does my wife, she tells me so all the time. Well at least I think she does, I don't really listen anyway. (joking) But really - great great thought!
