| So amazing!!! I am overjoyed, overwhelmed and all the in between. I am so excited about the outcome of the 2008 extremely long presidential election. The up, the down, the positive, the negative, the black, the white, the unity and the great divide. Unity and change won! THE (UNITED) STATES OF AMERICA. I cannot explain to you the many emotions that engulfs my very soul at this moment. Born and raised in the deepest part of the South: where oppression, depression and hopelessness lives. Where the spirit of the slavery yet rules and oppresses the African American. Of course, Jesus has always been our spiritual hope, but now President Elect Obama is that natural hope. He has forever changed the face of American History. "YES WE CAN" This day was possible because of the faith and support of many different races, creeds and political parties. They didn't believe the lie that was birthed from the pits of hell that blacks were subhumans, but equal. My only hope is that you, searched your heart and settled in your spirit and did not allow any person nor political party to silence your voice. If so, you missed your place in HISTORY. Blessings to All.... |

Hi Stephanie,
I read your comments on the other blog and this one. I definitely searched my heart on this one. You are correct in saying that to vote because of race is racist and I do agree very much. It is our responsibility to pray for Godly leaders. Stephanie, I am honestly not judging Pres. Obama. I pray that He consults The God of the universe for help in running this country. I specifically did not vote for him, due to his views and voting records on abortion and the fact that he voted against protecting the life of an aborted baby that was born alive. Period.
Stephanie, I am not writing this to attack you or argue with you. I sincerely love you in, The Lord.
While I am only saved because of His Grace to me, I felt that I did what was correct for me to do.
Some wrote that maybe I was judging women who had an abortion and that is so far from the truth, and in essence, they were judging me for thinking that.
I also pray for the safety of our new president and his family, because there are a whole lot of evil people of all colors and nationalities that spread their lies and propoganda.
Every wrong and unjust thing that was ever done will be weighed and judged by God.
The bottom line is that I will not trust any man or woman, but I will trust God, and I will be thankful constantly that He chose me from the foundation of the world, though I never deserved it.
Blessings to you! |

| Forgiven,
Amen! I too am saved because of HIS Grace. We can't beat each other up because we disagree. The is great christian dialogue. In order for any of us to make it--we must put of total trust in the Father. No matter who is voted in or out of office. In His Love, Stephanie |
