| A Thought for Today! |

Perhaps some of you are rejoicing today because of the pick of Barack O'Bama for president, and some of you are not. But no matter how you voted, we need to hang on to this verse that one of my daughter in love sent me today, it came from my son. It is how I feel, and pray it will bless you as well. It does not matter who you voted for, it fits the day.
Mom, I read a verse and I believe it is one that you and I need to hang on to in the wake of what has happened yesterday: "Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." (Ps. 46:10)
It may be that God is going to humble our great country in order to be exalted among the people. One thing we do know … God is still God! He doesn't need to run for reelection – even if his "approval ratings" are low among the majority of people.

Nancy, I believe this also, thank you for your wisdom, to try to bring solace to our hearts, as for me for a year or better when things were out of control for me...I look up and say I trust you God! I don't put any faith in presidents. I put faith in kings. And I just so happen to know the King of kings. In fact, I even "pal around" with Him. His name is Jesus.
