Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. NIV

No matter who we voted for in this election locally and nationally, as the people of God, we are instructed to pray for those in authority. I can say that personally it's the only thing that brings me peace for my church and country.

I am thankful for God who doesn't see anything as too small or too great for His intervention. We His people, hope in God not man, and that is Good News.

So be encouraged, God loves us and our confidence is in Him alone.
