Bitter? Sweet?

This has always been a struggle for me. God has been teaching this to me since early this year. You'd think by now I'd of gotten the hang of it, but yet, I find that the tongue is a very hard thing to bridle. I give God the glory for my successes. He is mighty! No one else could tame the tounge, at least not mine. Bless you ABBA Father!

3:11 Doth the fountain send forth from the same opening sweet `water' and bitter? 3:12 Can a fig tree, my brethren, yield olives, or a vine figs? Neither `can' salt water yield sweet.

Well if anyone can tame the tongue he is a righteous man and able to keep his whole body in check. James 3
Not an easy thing to do. 

Since the tongue speaks what is in the heart the best way to calm the tongue and train it for righteousness is to change the heart.  Jesus does that through the washing of the word and through the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.  As we yeild more to Him we will find much improvements in our life especially in our speech.

Ah the tongue. Indeed its power is great! It can build a person up tremendously, or tear a person down and reduce em to nothing. Your prayer for God's help applies to us all, Jewlz!!
