Have you ever felt really good about who you are and what you're doing? That "Look at me, see what I've done!" feeling? That strutting, cocky feeling of I am who I am and proud of it?
There once was a man who felt his way was right and he was proud of it. He flaunted it. Had much pride in himself and his ways. After all, he was following in a family tradition, that had even been written about in a book.
One night, after drinking, he drove home, or should I say to the place he slept. He opened the door to get out of the car. He didn't get the chance to stumble to the door. He described it as something huge, jerking him out of the car and body slamming him face first to the ground. So much for the pride and haughtiness. He knew it was God. And God told him "That's enough!" No one was there to witness it or to blame it on. He was immediately sober.
This encounter with God was because of pride and haughtiness of sin. He came face to face with God, and God left marks in the form of a busted nose and bruises, that lasted for days.....how humbling. With that humbleness, began an exciting journey of salvation and restoration. His pride is in the Lord now.

| Being body slammed by the Lord is a mighty painful thing...LOL...ask somebody who knows (me)...God has a way to humble you and get a YES LORD...That's WHY I do what I do....and how I do...whether people understand my ministry or not....I done been body slammed by God too many times for not doing it HIS WAY....but MY WAY....But now...I'm a changed girl...and it's only HIZ-WAY....Hence the name...Mar-Jay...Hiz-Way...LOL |

| I love testimony!! This is one my Fav's!!! Here is another. On the radio, today I heard of a little boy that donated a Princess Di, beanie baby for a Fireman's auction. HHe raised $3,+++ some odd dollars for the cause and has received 12 Princess Di, beanie babies back so far!! How large is our God?!!!! Incrediable! (((((((sMiLeS)))))) Go, God! |
