This is good stuff Jordon!  Hey, didn't you win American Idol?  lol, just kidding :)

I am personally seeking wisdom, so I like to read a Proverb a day to coincide with the day of the month.  This way the Proverbs 31 women only comes around every couple of months to make me feel bad!

you lost me at the american idol thing...do i look familiar?

yeah, my friend and her boyfriend were studying a proverb a day and really enjoyed it. i'm babysitting a non-christian family and this same friend recommended reading proverbs and then when they misbehaved showing them what the bible said about it. they are god believers, just not god livers....ya know? so i think ill give it a shot since it's oh so popular :). thanks for the comment sue! i look forward to getting to know you :)!!

I was just messing with you, since a girl named Jordon won this year.  Sorry, it's just my goofy sense of humor :)

I totally agree with Sue. I would add Proverbs to the Psalm reading. I too have been seeking God for Wisdom and he directed me over the last 2 1/2 years to read a proverb a day (and center in on a particular wisdom verse each day).

A good way to do this is by the date of the month, IOW, on March 1, you would read Proverbs 1, on March 2, Proverbs 2, etc.

I'm finding out, as I do this alone that it's not as "fun" or "moving" for lack of better words, as it is with 2 or more people. I think that's because when someone else is reading aloud it's easier for the other people to simply focus on the words and not WHAT they're reading. Just thought I'd add that for those interested :). If you haven't done it with another person-seriously try it!
