| America, kneels to pray |
|
| |
We are facing a new era in the history of America, but Tough times are nothing new to the American people: we've been facing and overcoming adversity long before John Hancock proudly penned his name on the Declaration of Independence. Through wars, epidemics, social unrest, economic distress, hypocrisy and our own inner struggles. We as Americans, have had to face our problems and rise above them. And so it is today. So what better way to face adversity, than to turn to the Creator of the universe.
The times that try men's souls are also the times that , make us stronger. As we look to God in prayer, and seek his face, rest assured, we can look forward to his help and comfort . The Bible is filled with these promises.
One such assurance is written in The 23rd Psalm, in the book of Psalms
23:1 The LORD [is] my shepherd; I shall not want. 23:2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 23:3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art] with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 23:5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. I also believe Psalm 91 is a good reference to the victory we have in Our God, Let's look at verses 1 through 2 , 91:1He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 91:2 I will say of the LORD, [He is] my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. I've come to learn that the secret place is when we are in prayer with our Lord. He hides us. The rest of the Psalm is also our confidence of His saving grace in our time of need. Let us rejoice in the victory over our trails and troubles that only He can provide.
As America prays Lord, we give you thanks in all circumstances. And, when we face the inevitable challenges and difficulties of life, we turn to You. When we encounter situations that we cannot understand, we put our trust in You. You are the Creator and the Most High God. We give you all the honor and thanksgiving for the ultimate victory that only You have promised , Your mercy endures forever, In the name of Jesus, We pray, Amen.

| Lord I pray 2 Peter 3:9 for those who do not know you. Lord there are no other God's before you. Forgive us if we have thought, done or said anything that was against your will for we do not know the hour that you will come. Thank you for your mercy and that your grace is sufficient enough. |

Father I request that your heed your Words as they are written. You sent your Son to die for us and that through Him the world shall be saved, if they will only believe His Word. I pray that you make a way where those who are not of the fold will be ushered in before it is too late. Let YOUR Kingdom and YOUR will be done on earth as it is in heaven, in the name of my precious Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, Amen.
I also join my faith to Cece and Heather's faith and may it be so done, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Shalom to you my friend |
