Recently I have been placed in a situation that I wanted to give someone a piece of my mind. Recently I wanted to get in there and bad mouth a friend who in my mind wants attention, and is the kind of person who is always right just ask her. Recently, I wanted to put myself in the center of attention, and have a poor me pity party. Recently, well you get the picture. Then I logged in here and saw the scripture for today.

       It was like God was telling me again, I forgot. Walking by the Spirit , not gratifying the desires of the flesh is what I am called to do. It is not just a suggestion, it is command. I was having a hard time today putting my eyes on the Lord, walking in love. But God in His grace and mercy, got the Internet to tell me walk by the spirit, don't get into that flesh. You can't walk by the spirit and do what you want. You can't they just do not go together, they can not exist in the same space. It is a spiritual impossibility. I was in a place of choice.

   Have you ever been in this place of choice? Have you ever had to turn around and start acting like you were somebody ( A child of the Living God, the bride of Christ the anointed one.) Well I had to once it had been brought to my attention, that I had wanted to get into my flesh big time, I had to say,"I will walk in the Spirit." Once having said that all was well...don't I just wish. There just came more opportunities to walk in the spirit. You ever been there? Oh well practice makes perfect as they say, what do they know, and just who are they to tell me what to do. The battle is in the mind dear hearts, it is easy to have those rebellious thoughts, it is easy to walk in the flesh, that is easy.  But it is just as easy to walk in the spirit...HUH????  You might be going just about now. Well that is the tug of war that goes on in your brain. But praise be to God, that He gives us the victory, that He makes it easy to walk in Love and by the Holy Spirit. He has provided a way that we can follow the command. That way is through Jesus, He is the re-newer of our minds, He is the example, and if we have the mind of Christ, we can walk by the spirit. So dear ones, today I encourage myself, and you. That whatever the flesh is tempting you to do you can walk in the spirit. You can act out of the Love of Christ. Praise be to God.
