| THE BODY OF CHRIST LIVES NOW!!! |

| I’m going to shout it to the rooftops, to the heavens, and be heard AROUND THE WORLD – THE BODY OF CHRIST LIVES NOW!!! How can I know this? About eighteen months ago, around the time I was first ordained a minister, I wrote a paper. The paper was all about the idea of church on the worldwide web. There is a section further into the piece titled What It Is to be Christian. Church is an amazing concept. It is, because the first thing any kindergarten child and even most adults will say is that CHURCH is that fancy building down the road with the cross and the steeple and the bell that rings on Sunday. It is unfortunate that the Biblical definition of CHURCH has been lost, thrown by the wayside by “religions”. CHURCH: as defined, comes from the Greek word ECCLESIA, which is defined as an ASSEMBLY. The root meaning of church is NOT OF A BUILDING, BUT OF PEOPLE. This is what people often cannot see. The New Testament is the only place where you will find the word CHURCH. In the book of Romans you’ll find a reference made by Paul. Romans 16:5; refers to church in their house, not a church building, but a body of believers. “Greet also the church that meets at their home. Greet my dear friend Epenetus, who was the first convert to Christ in the province of Asia.” The Church is the BODY OF CHRIST as told in Ephesians 1:22-23, where it says: “And He put all things in subjection under His feet and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is HIS body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.” The body of CHRIST is made up of ALL BELIEVERS from the time of PENTECOST until the RAPTURE. The Body of CHRIST is made up of two aspects: The Universal Church and The Local Church. The Universal Church is described in the book of I Corinthians 12:13 where it says “For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body – whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free – and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.” What we don’t realize is that this is exactly what we’ve been missing, CHURCH isn’t a building. It is a body of people, no matter where they come from and more. We all come from the same body, the body of CHRIST, and we all have been given the same SPIRIT, the HOLY SPIRIT. Yet we fail to recognize this, Jew or Gentile, Baptist or Pentecostal, Catholic or Protestant, the Body of CHRIST is where we exist, in the HOLY SPIRIT. All those who have placed their faith in JESUS CHRIST for salvation consist of the BODY OF CHRIST. John 3:16 reads “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” So, ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters, think about it this way, Jesus said in the Gospel of Matthew 18:20: “For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.” And so, my brothers and sisters, there are millions of people, all in churches, all found right here on the worldwide web, all of us together IN HIS NAME. We, ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters, are gathered together IN ONE PLACE IN HIS NAME, and together our force is MIGHTY in the NAME OF THE LORD. This is the word and the light as brought to us through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen and so it shall be. I am the Rainbow Minister, Reverend Laura A. Neff and I remember the Covenant of Hope and Promise, made in the days of Noah, proclaimed on the day our Savior was born, and Sanctified in GLORY when HE ROSE AGAIN to SIT AT THE RIGHT HAND OF THE FATHER. WE SHALL BUILD A GREAT CHURCH ON THE SHOULDERS OF MANKIND. Amen and so it shall be. |

Well Ms. Laura - You have found some "hidden nuggets" in the Word sister. Let those who have ears hear what the Reverend just said Alleluia!!! Preach sister. I'm listening. LOL!!! Oh the Lord is "good". Not many will come to this revelation sister. Too many fat pew warmers LOL!!! Only those who are filled with the Holy Spirit will recognize truth.

| AMEN AND SO IT SHALL BE AND SO IT IS!!! You really nailed it good with this one. No pun intended. From the day I first met you I knew there was something special about you and now that something is confirmed. The Lord speaks to us directly through you. You are so filled with the Holy spirit. Thank you ishsallthetime, for the comment. I am glad I can find those hidden treasures in the Word. Sometimes all I need is a conversation, a dream, or even the smallest of things.
