COMMON GROUND

I have only bee a member of "my church"for 2 and a half months.Since joining it has been a great joy!!!The other believers I have had conversation with and the blog entries I've read, have been wonderful!!! Today while reading some blogs I noticed a kind of disagreement in some doctrinal teaching.I realize we are from different back grounds here.Let us remember our"COMMON GROUND"here.He was born of a virgin,He died on a cross and He rose on the third day!!!Jesus is our common ground here!!! Let's let the Pastors'and Sunday school teachers teach Biblical doctrine.We can have debate on social issues and how we as believers should tackle them.We know that the world is a very disturbing place to be right now.Let us join together to spread the Gospel as Jesus commanded.Get to know Jesus and Make Him known....(that is one of my favorite sayings)

Hey Jimmie, good point. Peter and Paul sparred a bit if I remember but they had the common ground as you say of knowing that salvation was through the cross.
