It's a somewhat personal topic, one that (it's kinda sad to say) not many people in the Body are comfortable talking and sharing about. Sometimes that's because we don't want to seem like we're bragging or anything, but more often it's because we're kinda convicted that we're not making as much of an impact as we know we should be making. I don't want us to be people afraid of answering questions like these. We should make adjustments if necessary, re-prioritize some things, and then proceed forward in discipling and being discipled. Mike, thanks for responding. Yeah, you did share in the prior blog, but thanks for sharing here too! I enjoy hearing more details about peoples' discipleship experiences...it's in my opinion probably one of the most edifying things we can share together. If only more people would take the time to pull back a bit from their ever-busy schedules for five minutes and ponder the "better part" things...nothing rejuvenates like sharing, edifying, being built up by the testimonies of their brothers and sisters. 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. |
