Lately, I have heard a lot of ministers and some of our readers talking about the time and season they feel we are in spiritually. Many people feel as if we are in a time of the manifestations of all God has promised us. I, too, believe that we are in the season the Bible talks about where the wealth of the wicked will be transferred to the just - to God's people.
It's almost like a feeling in the atmosphere - just as if you feel rain coming - it feels like the same thing to me spiritually. On that note, I don't want anyone, not one of our readers to miss this time. I want every single person reading this to experience the manifestation of the promises of God in their lives. We all have things that we have been trusting God for - standing in faith for - confessing the word for - and I believe we are in a season where we can and will actually see those things come to pass.
Many people pray most diligently when it seems like the promise if far off. We will often pray most when we want God to begin to move on our behalf. But one thing I think we do is to relax our hold on His word when we begin to feel like what He has promised is coming to pass. When we begin to sense in our spirit that the time has come to walk in the promise of what we are praying for - we often become excited (which is good) but don't loosen your grip. It's not the time to let up.
I think about the Old Testament, when God sent His people into a city to fight, He also told them to fight until they had utterly destroyed their enemy - to leave no stone unturned. He is saying the same thing today.
I was reading about Daniel and discovered that when Daniel realized it was time for the formerly spoken prophecy to come to pass - that is when he began to fast and pray and seek God - not for God to answer his prayer but for him to see the manifestation of it.
What I am saying today is this; when you begin to feel it the season for all God has promised you - that is not the time to lay your sword down, that is the time to press in with all you have. Give God no rest until you see what He has promised you come to pass.
Often we will see a little trickle of His promises coming - you know what I mean, things begin to get a little better here and there - and you let up just a little - knowing you are beginning to see it all come to pass. If you do that, you will often miss the fullness of the promise.
Or we find ourselves in a battle and we fight hard, then we see or sense a little bit of relief and we stop praying and standing in faith because we have gotten a little relief. We settle for a little relief and no longer fight for complete freedom. I am telling you today that we must always stand firm and fight until we have complete victory - not simply a bit of relief.
Remember David, when he fought Goliath? First he knocked him out with a stone - but it did not kill him. What do you think would have happened if David would have stopped there? Do you think this giant, Goliath, would have awakened from that stone and slithered away? No, if he had awakened, he would have tried his best to kill David. But David knew the ways of God, and he knew that he couldn't just injure Goliath; he had to utterly destroy him. It was David or Goliath that day, and David knew it. David not only won the battle but the entire war.
So it is with us - we have to keep standing and keep declaring the word of God until we have complete victory. We can not settle for anything else but complete and utter victory. We can't stop when we feel a little relief - no! We must demand ALL that God has said we can have. We must utterly destroy our enemy, whether that enemy is lack, sickness or whatever, that enemy must be utterly destroyed in our lives.
Perhaps the battle has been long - perhaps it has been hard - then stop and take a breath - but don't stop until you have seen with your eyes complete victory. When you sense in your spirit, just like Daniel did, that it is time for the words you have heard from God to come to pass, press in that much harder - pray fervently - confess the word - speak into the atmosphere and declare that it is here now - declare that you are seeing it now. Do like Daniel did and set your face to SEE what you know is already yours, what God has says is already yours - when you do that - you will surely see it - just as Daniel did. Just as God did for Daniel, He will send His warring angels to clear the way for your promise to come to pass. And you will SEE it.
