Something to ponder indeed Karen...I guess my first instinct would be to say...Well whose report will you believe...We shall believe the report of the Lord.....and HIS WORD says that we are healed.....That would be my initial response....But I know that there are many people who have stood on the Word of God and didn't receive their healing....Can I explain that.....no...Only God knows...We as servants are instructed to anoint the sick with oil, and pray the prayer of faith....Then the LORD will raise them up.....So we do our part....and sit back and let the Lord do His part...Whether in this life...or after the resurrection ;o)

The person who was responsible for leading me to Christ (after attending a Billy Graham crusasde) allowed his wife to die because of his faith, now I am not saying that he was right or wrong, I dont personally know how I would react. I would like to think that my faith would be strong enough to believe in a healing but there is the issue of Gods timing? It is a hard one! Stu!

God is able to do all things.  He has the power to heal. We are all predestined for an appointed time and God may not choose to heal all.  He says some may have to suffer.  I believe it be according to the plan he has for each individual.

Being a wife who lives with a husband with an incurable disease, I'm living it.....and I totally agree with MarJay. Also, I have to add.....it depends on what you consider healing. For us, healing with this disease is having life, before the meds, he had limited quality of life.......now he does.......to us this is healing. We see where God has brought us from and anxiously await where He's leading us to.......also, they're are other forms of healing.....spiritually and emotional.......he's been healed in both of those areas.

What would I do.......exactly what I'm doing........praying, taking good care of him, depending on God, and feeling 100% blessed to be his wife........I am married to my husband, not the disease :)

CindyLou, I also have an incurable disease and what you doing is right,he is husband that you are marry too not the disease.
In today's society we get caught with fear but forgot that GOD is still the miracle working business.
Life or death is in the power of the tongue, the thing we most fear can become the thing that we fight according to the word.
I believe we the best source, the power of JESUS NAME, CindyLou ,I am praying for you and your husband and you let me know if I can do anything else,I luv you my friend

All we can do is love and pray for that person,
and leave it up to God, some He will heal, and
some he won't..but let it be His will, and don't
question it, for He knows best..it is a lot easier
to say, than it is to do..but really we have no
choice, we are God's to do what He feel is best.
God Bless you and your family, and this is
something to think about..I love you..real mind food.
