Announcer: “Ladies and Gentlemen, in this corner of the ring we have the leading contender THE CHAMPION DECEIVER!!!” crowd roars and cheers. “And in this corner we have what some are calling a Christian, and others FOOLISH” silence, falls on the crowd and the boxing match is set Bell rings “Ding, Ding, Ding”… The game is set- is your gloves on? Do you go with what the crowd cheers? Or do you go with what “Foolish” Christians do and deny the world and its wisdom. For the world holds no value in its understanding and knowledge of God, or Christ. Therefore any “wisdom” that the world may have to offer is null and void for the world understands not even the mere concept of His revelation and what the world has to offer is meaningless. A real “FOOLISH” fighter knows that The Foolishness of God is wiser than mans wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than mans strength. 1 Cor 1:25 As a “Foolish” fighting Christian do not forget that we have because of Christ and the Holy Spirit, an innate ability to FIGHT and WIN every single round with the world and its deceit. Christ chose us – each one personally, for this fight, for this round, for this purpose! God did choose the lowly, despised, and things that are not- just to nullify the things that are! None of us are anything in ourselves alone- but we can boast in the LORD! For if Christ is in us then it matters not our oratorical abilities or our eloquent intellectual abilities. What matters is our Faith and our demonstration of the Spirit’s power. The wisdom of the world is alienated from God, our wisdom is in Christ! It would be too easy to give in to the roar of the crowd at the ringside, as they cheer for the opponent- but DON”T! It does not even matter what level of training you have! You were chosen for such a time as this and Christ is the one who does the fighting ultimately anyway. God’s wisdom will cause every believer to share eventually in Christ’s glory. Ro 8:12 Our job as the “FOOLISH” fighter is to gear up- strap up – glove up- and step in the ring with faith knowing that when the bell “Dings” that this match has already been fought and won! God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong 1 Cor 1:27
