He who rejects me and does not receive my sayings has a judge; the word that I have spoken will be his judge on the last day.
“Unless you repent, you too will all perish,” has been lost to the idea of self-approval.
“Watch out for false prophets,” has been lost to the concept that anybody who claims to speak for Jesus is valid whether they obey Him or not.
“Deny yourself,” has been replaced by self-promotion.
“Be reconciled to your brother,” has been lost to hard nosed competition even among religious people and organizations.
“Follow Me,” has been exchanged for the idea of following human ministers.
“Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,” has been replaced with retaliation.
“Go and sin no more,” is dodged with the argument that everybody sins.
“Give,” has been turned into a “seed” and a technique to create personal wealth.
“Pray for those who persecute you,” now often means pray to get even with them.
“Store up treasures in Heaven,” has been turned around to mean that we should get as wealthy as possible here on earth.
“The greatest among you will be your servant,” has been changed to the idea that the greatest is the one who controls a church or ministry and names things after himself.
“The seed is the word of God,” is ignored and money is called “the seed.”
“Everyone who exalts himself will be humbled and he who humbles himself will be exalted,” has been replaced with the idea that the one who promotes his own name, picture, and reputation gets the glory.
“Lead us not into temptation,” has been replaced by the idea that we stay as close to temptation as we can by watching movies and TV shows that tempt us to think and do evil.

| Steve, I have to agree with you. We have made this life about us, and not about God, who created us for Him. We have allowed ourselves to worship the created things and have pulled away from the Creator. This country and world need a wakeup call. All ways Do Not lead to God and Heaven. We need to get back to what God says and Do His will for our lives. Thank you for the post. God Bless you, my brother. |

| Powerful...Powerful blog Steve....Oh yeah I got to print this one out and refer back to it...Surely these Words of Jesus have been lost.....But then again there is a broad way which leads to destruction and many there are that travel on that road...but on the straight and narrow road that leads to eternal life...there be few that travel this road and you find one traveling there....every now and then....May we all forever keep the words of Jesus close to our heart...and live them. Thanks for sharing ;o) |

I put it bluntly (so there is no room to hide): There are a few of us that have been trying to get the attention of church leaders from all over - for many years. But instead of a love for God's Truth, we have been continuously met with rejection, even open hostility; including all kinds of wild accusations designed to silence us. These have been the real false preachers and teachers, the "deceivers " - even though we have presented God's Word and His Way in showing them their error (even on this blog). It's good to know that somebody is finally paying attention; and hopefully there will be many that will "repent" and "turn", before it is too late!
It is not God's Will that the United States be destroyed - we are the onlynation on earth that has the mottoes, "In God We Trust" and "One Nation Under God"! But the churches have lost their way for forty years, so now the sixty six curses will come to fulfillment if "God's people"don't very soon repent of their "Iniquity" and "Idolatry"- and turn their hearts to the "Truth [first about themselves] and receive "The whole counsel of God".
