Leviticus 19:18 You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people; but you shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am Yahweh. Zechariah 8:17 and let none of you devise evil in your hearts against his neighbor, and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate," says Yahweh. Matthew 5:43 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemy.' Matthew 5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, Matthew 19:19 'Honor your father and mother.' And, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'" Luke 10:27 He answered, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself." Did you ever wonder why your eyes look out, instead in to you? Well, it is easier to see where you are going. You can see what is around you. You can see others instead of always looking at yourself. Of course we have found ways to look at ourselves, such as mirrors. Actually, we only see a reflection of ourselves. The only ones that truly see us are God and others. So what we think of ourselves maybe totally different in other’s eyes. And much deeper than we could ever imagine to God. God is never going to be rude to us or tear us apart and tell us all that is wrong. Instead, He will gently lead us away from those things that are silently eating away at our attitudes about ourselves and others. We really have to listen carefully to hear that still small voice. When we yield, we let Him gently turn and straighten our ways. Then, when we look in that mirror, we will see His smile through us. All those stress lines disappear and we see a happy person with eyes in the front.
