I spent all day yesterday traveling from Georgia. If you travel much you know airports are a roller coaster ride of frantic action and long boredom. On the flight out of Atlanta the sky was blue with white fluffy clouds. I felt like I was gliding through a sea of cotton balls. It was absolutely breath taking and I found myself worshiping God and thanking Him for His powerful, beautiful creation.
19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament showeth his handiwork. 19:2 Day unto day uttereth speech, And night unto night showeth knowledge. 19:3 There is no speech nor language; Their voice is not heard. 19:4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, 19:5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, And rejoiceth as a strong man to run his course. 19:6 His going forth is from the end of the heavens, And his circuit unto the ends of it; And there is nothing hid from the heat thereof. he honeycomb. I also thought about a book I recently finished. It was called Small Graces and it was a small book full of essays on life. It had a spiritual flavor to it but I don't think I would class it as Christian but it was still a good read. In one chapter the author talks about a blind lady who was asked if she could see anything in the world , what would she choose. Her answer:clouds. I didn't understand that answer, but I think I do now. As our jet flew through the clouds we were like an ant on the seashore. The clouds were so big and we were so small. How could you put an experience like that into words? You would have to see it to believe it. Do you see the clouds? |
