Regardless of prohibitions to live righteously we need to continue to live Godly lives never compromising the Word of God. In this text we see how Daniel's anointing brought light to his gifts which in turn made a way for his promotions. We too are granted favor before the sight of kings because of allowing God to live in us. However, be forever vigilant because the enemy will recognize your distinctive characteristics and try to use them as points of vulnerability. Be steadfast in your commitment to God..... even to the point of death.
6:3 6:2and over them three presidents, of whom Daniel was one, to whom these satraps should give account, so that the king might suffer no loss. 6:4 6:3Then this Daniel became distinguished above all the other presidents and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king planned to set him over the whole kingdom. 6:5 6:4Then the presidents and the satraps sought to find a ground for complaint against Daniel with regard to the kingdom; but they could find no ground for complaint or any fault, because he was faithful, and no error or fault was found in him. |
