The Power of Thanksgiving

When we thank God for what He has done, we acknowledge His goodness.  It reminds us of his faithfulness in the past and our experience tells us what we already know from the Word; that God will keep His promises. 

Thankfulness is the attitude of faith. Jesus said, "Whatever things you desire, when you pray believe that you receive them and you shall have them." Mark 11:24   When walk by faith we expect God to bless us and our family.  We expect salvation, healing, prosperity and favor.   When we really expect God to do these things we become excited about what we expect. 

Our anticipation fills our heart with thankfulness.  We thank Him in the midst of trouble knowing that He will bring deliverance. Learn to thank God for what He has done.  Learn to thank Him for what you believe He will do.  Anticipate God's very best blessing.  Get excited about it.  Be thankful.

Amen!  It is the natural response of a belief that comes from the heart...for with the heart man believes and confession is then made.  So I've been through the praise "method" where we are trying to use praise to get God to do something...and I see that isn't what you are talking about!  When faith sees the unseen, that faith being the evidence of the unseen reality...praise is the spontaneous result!

You  are right Mike we need to step out on faith & believe that when we ask for something in the name of Yeshua our Messiah God will do it. I have been praying & encouraging a friend for a job that God will bless her with a job in His timing. You are right Jewlz Michael is obedient in his teaching & his music.
