Here is a Love triangle that I strongly encourage you, who are married, to put into action. Imagine the shape of a triangle.
Now imagine YOU in one corner and your SPOUSE over in the other corner. It seems like they are so much further from you than they used to be. You focus on their unwillingness to have sex now or help you with the cleaning, this and that, ect.
Looking at each others weaknesses just frustrates you even more and subsequently you seem to slip further away from each other. Maybe you are thinking about adding someone into you personal relationship to restore the longing you have felt.
Someone to fill up that place in your heart that you thought marriage would take care of. Before you fall to the Worlds idea of how to fill this void, try putting Christ into your marriage.
If you and your spouse will both get into a three-way relationship with Christ at the top of this triangle, your marriage CAN be restored. As you begin to turn your attention (your focus) toward Christ... focusing on His will... His ideas... His way, He will begin to change YOU.
Then, when you both look across the triangle at each other, you see that, BECAUSE YOU BOTH HAVE SLID UP THE TRIANGLE (CLOSER TO CHRIST), NOW YOU ARE NOT SO FAR AWAY FROM THE OTHER AS YOU USED TO BE.
Put Christ into your marriage and make Him the Focus.
