| Never Been a Day |

After the gathering at the Wilson's house last Saturday, on Sunday afternoon I found myself sitting around watching a football game that I really didn't care about. So I went and got my guitar and started thinking about all the people that we had prayed for on Saturday night.
This is what came out. I believe I should probably mention that at least one line of this song has been "pre-borrowed" from a song that someone else will eventually write (long story, don't ask) and most of the rest I probably owe to what Elizabeth told us on Saturday and the prayers that were said in response. And I probably nicked the entire tune from somewhere, too.

Never Been a Day
Your name is written on my heart Your love is a fire in my soul Your words are burned within my mind Jesus, only You Can make me whole
There has never been a day You didn't love me Even when I tried to run and hide There has never been a day You didn't love me And You never, ever left my side
Your name is written on my heart Your love is a fire in my soul Your words are burned within my mind Jesus, only You Can make me whole
There has never been a day You didn't love me Even when I tried to run and hide There has never been a day You didn't love me Jesus, come claim Your bride
Alleluia, Alleluia You hold my heart in Your hands, I am Yours Alleluia, Alleluia You hold my heart in Your hands, I am Yours
There has never been a day You didn't love me Even when I tried to run and hide There has never been a day You didn't love me Jesus, come claim Your bride
