MARK 10:14 I marvel at how the Lord gives such energy and strength to the men of faith in Kenya. They do so much with so little. Pastor Jonah is one of the men of whom I speak. This past week, like many other weeks, he was out and about in the village, letting the little ones know about God's great love for them. This is how Pastor Jonah was himself converted. Someone came to the village and brought the message of the gospel and God's love for the people. Years later, a christian in another country, felt led to pay for the tuition for Pastor Jonah to go to Bible College. Today, Jonah is a pastor to his own people. How marvellous God is. When God enables, Pastor Jonah also travels farther afield to preach the Word of God. Mainly his church is involved in a lot of missionary outreach to the Pokot peoples in the northwest of Kenya. Pastor Jonah's humble church has even built several churches for the Pokot people to have fellowship, despite the fact that they don't have a finished church in which to worship themselves. This is how much the sister church in Kenya wishes to show Christ's example to the unreached peoples in their country. It is said that pictures are worth a thousand words so here are some pictures of the recent evangelistic outreach to the little ones in the village. You can click on the photos to see a larger version of them.
You can read all about the ministry at www.jonahsmissions.weebly.com 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done [it] unto me. Here are a couple photos of the last outreach to the Pokot people in northwestern Kenya. It really touched my heart to see such desire in these people to know the love of God and a deep readiness to serve Him.
Thanks be to God for the labourers for the harvest is indeed ready. |
