OK, So one of the side issues of being between churches, callings, houses, and jobs, whew, so much to even think about, is how easily sin, death, and the devil can beat up on you. The encouragement of brothers and sisters has become my life's blood. I was reading the end of Jeremiah today, and these verses jumped out at me.
51:5 For Israel is not forsaken, nor Judah, of his God, of Jehovah of hosts; though their land is full of guilt against the Holy One of Israel. 51:6 Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and save every man his life; be not cut off in her iniquity: for it is the time of Jehovah's vengeance; he will render unto her a recompense. and then the next one....
51:10 Jehovah hath brought forth our righteousness: come, and let us declare in Zion the work of Jehovah our God. It made me think of some of the things happening around me, I recently heard rumours of things said in a past relationship, and I myself have been a bit too self-reflective. All in all I am finding a bit of paranoia and low self esteem creeping into my life. I get into a "mood" and find myself "zoning out" in front of the TV, or sleeping real late on Saturday, you know, almost slipping into a depression of sorts, maybe a bit of lethargy. Here I am, in one of the most exciting times in my life, and sin, death, and the devil, creep in and try to steal my joy!! GET BACK satan! God must be God over all these things, over the self esteem, over the paranoia, over my responses to rumours. I love the verse that sets below the box, as I am writing this....
5:11 Wherefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as also ye do. I especially like the last part, even as you are doing! You all, and many others around me, exhort and encourage, as a course of normal action in their lives. I could embarrass several of you, and share some of those encouragements, but I will say, it's almost everyone here, people filled with God's joy, young and old, and many in between, encourageing and exhorting. People being the church, becoming that Bride, spotless, white, filled by His love, being revealed in Her beauty. I am finally filled, filled with His presence, filled with His love, filled because you all are being the Church, and reminding me......
22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him who gives ear, say, Come. And let him who is in need come; and let everyone desiring it take of the water of life freely. For we the bride, work with the Spirit, through the name of the Son, to the glory of the Father, so He may come ! |

Hey Dennis,
Don't be depressed, or oppressed, just be impressed with the love of Jesus! God loves us all so very much it is simply mind boggling. Be encouraged. You are going to make a fine music director. I know because God told me so. I trust Him. Now if you have a word for me that my rent is paid in full (like the wages of death), then I'm going to sing Hallelujah at the top of my lungs. I'm sure glad Jesus walks with us each step of the way. We are never alone. Therefore...be BOLD!
Blessings, Sandra |

We love you Dennis, and we are confident that everything you do will be a success. You have become a mentor and a great friend over the years. We even ask ourselves "what would Dennis do, or what would Dennis say about that?" You yourself are an encouragement to us and it is very impressive that you are taking on what you are taking on. We have no doubt that you will be an inspiration to everyone at school.
