9 And when those beasts give glory and honor and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,
10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
On this coming- thanksgiving celebration”
and as we think of all the things we have to be thankful for!
And although we have set aside a day for thanking God , I believe that we can all agree that
“Every day is the day of Thanksgiving” and even as we set a time of year on this day of giving thanks to the Lord, and so as we celebrate with family and friends,
“LET US THIS YEAR” Place ourselves in the Heavens as if we were already there.
Let us view the wonderful things that God has created
Let us look at the throne around the Heavens
See the wonderful creatures that are knelling in the presence of him, of the one God “ Who was, and is , and is to come.
See how they are worshiping him
See how they are loving him
See how they are just “ All struck” before him!
IT seems these creatures are casting the crowns in which they have received from him. “ We can learn much about “True thanksgiving and praise” by watching the creatures that are present around the throne of God as they are engaged in a similar worship , as we will prepare here on earth.
“ WE WILL THANK HIM ALWAYS, NOT JUST FOR WHAT HE HAS DONE”
“BUT BECAUSE OF WHO HE IS!
I THESSALONIANS 5:16-18 “ Rejoice evermore, pray without ceasing, in every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” CAST THE TRUE CROWN OF THANKS!
