| All This and a Little Suga, Too! |

Wow, I'm just overwhelmed at God's goodness.
We had the most wonderful Thanksgiving! There were twelve of us from 85 down to 3 1/2 mo.
Lotsa good food, two deep fried turkeys, dressing and giblet gravy, wilted romaine salad, baked beans, bourbon sweet potatoes, creamed potatoes, corn, pumpkin gooey cake, pecan pie, fudge.....oh my!!!!!!!
Our 13 year old grandson gave thanks to the Lord as we all held hands.....man, that does a Ga's heart good :)
After eating you could sit in one room and hear 3 conversations........if you could hear it over the giggling and laughter.
Then at the end of the day, we followed our oldest son and family back to their home to spend the night.
Daughter in love and I ended up shopping, LOL......till 11:30 pm.
I absolutely love snow......woke to snow this morn!!!!!!!! Ken had told me that if it snowed this year within 150 mi, he'd take me to the snow.........God took care of that for him, hehehehehe.
Went to church services this morn, our youngest grandchild was dedicated........thank You, Lord.
We decided Thanksgiving wouldn't be complete without a little Suga! So, we plan to meet at our favorite coffee shop...........wooooooohooooooooooooooo! It was closed, but we got to love on Suga for a little while before heading home!!!!!
Soooo thankful for a wonderful blessed Thanksgiving! |

I miss our BIG family gatherings.
I'm gonna have to drag everyone if I have to just to make it happen next year. LOL

| You are truly blessed. Here I have six children, 24 grands and a great, and dad and I had dinner alone. I am not complaining, as some of you know my favorite saying is "I put all my eggs in one basket and gave the basket to God." As long as they are serving Him I am happy. Sure do miss them though, but we had a good day together, just not very fancy, and w/o a lot of the fancy extras/. God bless, and know you will cherish that day forever. |
