| Boring and Predictable... |

I have seen a lot of books by Griffin, so I decided to try one out. This one sounded interesting...an airliner is stolen...word gets out that it is in the hands of terrorists who intend to fly it into a target in the US...so the search is on and the CIA, FBI, Homeland Security, DOD, are all engaged to find it.
This could have been a great book, but it isn't. There are no twists in the plot. It is very predictable from the very beginning. While there is a little character development in the beginning, it seems to just stop. I do realize this is a novel, but the methods of operations by the organizations involved were far from factual. Perhpas that added to my lack of excitement about the book.
Overall, I was disappointed with this book, and I would not recommend it. Caution - while there isn't a lot of bad language, it is scattered throughout the book and adds absolutely nothing to the story line or character development. |
