Yes. We were created by God, through Christ, for God. The Father sent His only begotten Son to pay the price of our redemption. We have been redeemed from our futile way of life that we inherited from our forefathers and are now waiting for our adoption as sons: the redemption of our bodies [Romans 8:23]! It was never just about us...it has always been about God and His glory...His marvelous grace! In Christ we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses [Ephesians 1:7]. The price of redemption has been paid, the debt has been forgiven. Merry Christ-mas! Thank you Father for sending your Son; thank you Jesus for your obedience! Blessings!
