Thanks for this Soozanne...we need to be reminded of this.  Sometimes it seems as though God doesn't listen to us at all.  But looking back at our lives, we ought to be able to tell that He answered at just the right times.

Thank you so much for your comment on my blog. I need all the advice I can get, and yours was very helpful.

I'm going to subscribe to you now, so I will be able to come back later and read some more. (when I'm not working)

Soozanne,

Ditto to what you said!

I also took away from it that while God took away what she (and we) perceived as security and her whole material life; he is ultimately her (and our) real security and all that she (and we) actually needed...

Just a thought.

God Bless

I sometimes wish I could just jump to the end of the story so I can see how it turns out...don't you? I'm sure lots of times that God is there, he's working it out just the way it needs to be worked out, but it sure is hard to keep plugging along. Wouldn't it be great to be able to read the good stuff at the end to help us keep going? Oh well, I suppose that wouldn't build the kind of faith God desires from us.
