Almost every day I see the Lord's hand of protection and/or His favor at work.  It is there for us, we just need to recognize and believe that HE has given His angels charge over us!  Glad to hear  your story.  I have one very simular to that one.  God literally cleared the road when my car went out of control.  There was plenty of traffic before and after the incident.  My car spun around across 4 lanes on a major highway!

Sue, that is awesome about your car, and the road clearing!  God can do some amazing things in our times of need!

Lisa, that sounds scary, and I am glad that you and your son were not hurt.  I have had things like that happen, when God is trying to tell me to slow down and listen.  If only we did what our little gut instincts tell us.  Thanks for the post!

There are so many examples, it's hard to choose which to tell!  My mom miscarried 7 times(!) before having me & I hoped I wouldn't have the same fate.  My 1st preg. took 2yrs. to happen & only after my husband & I fully gave our lives to being obedient to God. (the pregnancy pretty much happened the next day :)  The second preg. ended @ 12 wks. so when the 3rd preg. happened, my hubby & I had the elders of our church pray over me & annoint w/oil. Happy to say the pregnancy & birth were very UNeventful :)  That's a small example of how I see God being awesome in my life!

Lisa, those are good examples of God's faithfulness to us, and how awesome He is.  Thanks for sharing.

It's amazing to me how God answers our "simple" prayers daily.  Sometimes I still have trouble letting Him do his work when I have my own timeline - even when I have proof that He hears my prayers.

A few years ago, I was desperately searching for a new apartment.  I loved where I was living, but the new neighbor downstairs was an alcoholic and too rowdy for me to deal with any longer.  One night, my friend called to tell me her Dad had died.  She said while they were waiting, her brother reminded her that "Thy will be done" kept running through his mind.  After we hung up, I told God that I too would let Him do His will for me.  Two weeks later I found my present apartment, which I love.

The 2nd was when I had been stressing a bit about selling my parents' house.  Early one Thursday morning I promised God I'd turn it all over to Him and wouldn't even think about the house. I asked Him to find a nice family for the house.  On Sunday, my realtor stopped me in church to tell me there was a Christian family with 2 children who wanted to buy the house.

There are so many ways that God has answered my prayers.  He watches over those who don't even know it.  He creates beauty and miracles every day.  I have learned to count my blessings even when terrible things are happening in my life.  There is always something good in every day.

Speaking of Jesus guarding us in times of danger, I hope y'all know the song "Jesus Take The Wheel".  If not, let me know.....it has been a top song on country charts for a while...or was a few months ago.
