Truth

I was speaking with a friend of mine from Mt. Zion; he reminded me of a sermon preached by the senior pastor of TSC. The name of it is away in my memory, but something he said in that sermon rings the sound of truth, of which the vibrations are so echoing that any lying chain of the devil will be loosed by this truth! The truth is this: Imagine the devilImagine ChristImagine the power of the devilImagine the power of ChristWhere’s the devil in comparison to Christ?Remember Genesis? He shall crush your head! The only power the devil has in a believer’s life, whether the believer has committed some act of sin or not, is lies! We must, as honest lovers of Christ, realize the power of the devil is NO MORE! He’s the snake crushed under the foot of Christ with a little mouth poking out speaking lies to us… that’s the only power he has, which is really no power at all. This is why Jesus said “…if you continue in my word, then you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free…” We don’t need deliverance services as much as we simply need Disciples of Christ continuing in His word. 

Jesus is standing on top of Satan, his power/authority, has been extinguished in the life of the believer; all he can do is talk. Spiritual Warfare? Stand and see the salvation of the Lord!
