4:17,18,19. So I tell you this,and insist on it in the Lord,that you must no longer live as the
Gentiles do,in the futility of their thinking. 18. They are darkened in their understanding
and seperated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to
the hardening of their hearts. 19. Having lost all sensitivity, they have given
themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity,with
a continual lust for more.

5:3 But fornication and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is fitting among saints. 5:4 Let there be no filthiness, nor silly talk, nor levity, which are not fitting; but instead let there be thanksgiving. 5:5 Be sure of this, that no fornicator or impure man, or one who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. |
