| Season's Reason: Remembering the Holiness of Christ Jesus |

5:3 But fornication and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is fitting among saints. 5:4 Let there be no filthiness, nor silly talk, nor levity, which are not fitting; but instead let there be thanksgiving. 5:5 Be sure of this, that no fornicator or impure man, or one who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. This is such a timely word. Jesus is the reason for the Christmas season, but not just to be grateful for his birth, but even moreso to be grateful for the holy example that he set for us. He didn't just tell us to live holy, He has provided the Holy Spirit to help us to live in this earth as he did, as light and salt in this dark world. Praise God for His Holy Word! Alleluia! |
