| I just want everybody to know that WE HAVE THE BEST CHURCH IN WICHITA FALLS,TX according to Tania! LOL! Our church Christmas party was off the chain. Surely, if you walk around with a religious spirit on your shoulders, you would not have wanted to be there for sure. After having an awesome potluck dinner(which all the food I tasted was great, but some of it I had no clue what it was and didn't touch it...haha)we cleared the tables out and danced! To christian music that is! I have not had this much fun at a church party ever like I did tonight! Even my Momma,Granny Barnes danced it all out tonight! Thank God for the walls of religion being knocked down and for us to be able to let us be who we are outside of our church clothes! IN the church I grew up in, if we had of even thought about doing someting like this, they would have had us on the altar for daysssss casting demons outta us! We would have been banished to hell for sure. I look at that now, and that makes me sad to know that we think that God wants us to live like that. Even Jesus went to a few parties himself. So why would He want us too? He don't want us sitting at home like a bunch of Pharisees, and Saducees!!! LOL!!! This was the best fellowship we have ever had at a Christmas party. In the past, we have had formal banquets, but I am so glad that we had a normal party this time. It was so much better!!! If you didn't come, I will reassure you that you truly MISSED IT! Thank you Pastors Mark and Linda for be people of Integrity and being who you are and allowing us to be who we are! Not just allowing us to have the party, but even being a part of it and even participating in the dancing. IT WAS SOOO MUCH FUN!!! I love you guys!!! |
